WHEN TEACHING MAKES A SUBJECT: THE CONCEPT OF IDENTITY BEING QUESTIONED
Abstract
The advent of psychoanalysis, over one hundred years ago, brought about new perspectives on thoughts about humankind. It calls into question the certainties that Cartesian thinking had instituted and it tries to influence different fields of study that deal with what it is to be human. In this sense, this work addresses aspects that the concept of identification, as it is understood first by Freud and then by Lacan, ineluctably establishes in a purported subject who could be a subject of teaching.
Key words: identification, identity, psychoanalysis, teaching.
